Q. How can I trust Shine Like A Diamond?

Answer: Your Shine Like A Diamond cleaning team will always take every measure possible to assure safe handling of your things while cleaning your home. Since sometimes accidents cannot be prevented,  and its employees are insured and bonded so that you can rest assured that you are protected against loss and/or breakage. 

Q. What will Shine Like A Diamond Cleaning do in my home?

Answer: Before the first cleaning, a Shine Like A Diamond Cleaning manager will come and conduct a free, in-home estimate that will allow us to assess and better understand your house cleaning needs. Our cleaning service includes cleaning and dusting baseboards, pictures, lamp-shades, knick-knacks, windowsills, furniture, and basic light fixtures in all rooms and washing and/or vacuuming floors throughout. In the kitchen, we will spot clean cabinets, dust and wipe appliances, clean the sink, and wash the floor. In the bathrooms, sinks, floors, tubs and shower stalls will be scrubbed and cleaned. We will try our very best to meet your special needs as well.

Q. What will I have to do before the cleaning? 

Answer: We would like to focus on your cleaning, so we ask that you put away your personal belongings and de-clutter any surfaces.

Q. What time Will Shine Like A Diamond Cleaning arrive?

Answer: Our cleaning crew’s clean homes between 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., We usually will not be able to give you a specific time for the cleaning crew’s arrival, however, we will make every effort to meet your requested time frame.

Q. Do I have to be home when the cleaning team comes to my house? Can I provide you a key?

Answer: You do not need to be home while we clean. Most customers provide us with a key to their home during the in-home consultation, visit our office to drop off a key or send it by certified mail for their convenience. We store the keys in our secure safes at the end of each day. If for any reason you elect not to provide us with a key and we do not have access to your home upon our arrival you may incur a lock-out charge. During the cleaning, our teams will lock the door and will not allow any unknown person to enter your home.

Q. Can I provide any instructions for my team?

Answer: We would greatly appreciate it if you can communicate any special instructions directly to the office via by e-mail or phone call so that we can update your file accordingly to enhance the cleaning experience you receive. This will help us your notes available to any team that may clean your home in the future, as well as a reminder for your regular team.

Q. How do I pay for my cleaning service? 

Answer: 

We appreciate full payment on the day of the cleaning. Please leave your check payment on your kitchen table or kitchen countertop for the team to pick-up. You can also set-up a Venmo Account or Cash Me Account to pay for your services. We will provide you with instructions on how it works. 

Q. Why Is the Initial Cleaning cost more than the recurring services?

Answer: We would need extra time to clean your house thoroughly during the initial cleans to bring it to Shine Like A Diamond Cleaning standards where we can maintain on recurring visits. During the initial cleaning, Shine Like A Diamond Cleaning will clean your home top to the bottom. Initial cleaning takes longer since your house has not been cleaned at our standards. The initial cleanings based on the amount of time it takes to clean your home. Our recurring services will help to maintain your clean home

Q. How Often can you provide service? 

Answer: Services can be provided on a weekly, every two weeks, or monthly, depending on your cleaning needs. We also offer cleanings for special occasions, as well as move-in, move-out cleaning services.

Q. How many people will be cleaning my home?

Answer: Our cleaning crews consist of two people. Occasionally, we may send our quality control manager with the team to ensure the quality of our services.

Q. Will I always have the same cleaning team?

Answer: We make every effort to ensure that our regularly scheduled customers have the same cleaning team come to their home week after week, however, we may send a different crew due to illness or vacation. All of our cleaning crews are trained to provide a consistent service each time. Our cleaning crews do not smoke, eat or drink in your home.

Q. What should I do with my pet while you are cleaning?

Answer: We would greatly appreciate it if you could secure your pets If your dog/cat is aggressive in any way or in case visitors make them nervous and pick up after them before our arrival.

Q. What should I do about my security alarms on the day of cleaning?

Answer: Please ensure that if your home is equipped with a security system it is turned off or disarmed on the day of your scheduled cleaning. If you choose to provide us with instructions for arming or disarming your security alarm, we will not be responsible for any alarms that may be set off.

Q. What if my cleaning team missed a spot?

Answer: Call us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the area, free of charge.

Q. What services do you not provide? 

Answer: our goal is to provide consistent, quality cleaning services to all of our customers during each visit. We customize our house cleaning services to fit your home’s unique needs and budget. To provide this level of exceptional service to all our valued customers there are some areas and items in your home that we do not clean:
